hot wheels packaging redesign
The goal of this redesign was to minimize packaging waste while retaining content and product visibility. Its greatly reduced size utilizes a recycled cardboard base with a limited, three-color palette, featuring illustrations for each of the differing cars. All of the original type and branding elements are present in the redesign, including a logo refresh for Hot Wheels. The bottom of the package opens to reveal ties anchoring the vehicle in place as well as a small product user guide.
